学术地位
As an NWACC student, you are expected to make satisfactory progress in all courses taken and are subject to the 学术地位 策略.
Your academic standing is determined at the end of each fall and spring semester on the basis of credit hours completed and cumulative and/or semester grade point average. Your academic standing determines re-enrollment status and establishes conditions associated with re-enrollment or denial of re-enrollment.
学术地位等级
A student on academic probation warning who does not meet the minimum 2.0 semester grade point average will be suspended and will not be able to enroll for one major semester (fall or spring). Additionally, students must achieve a minimum 2.0 term GPA while on probation following suspension. Failure to achieve this GPA will lead to a one year suspension.
Once placed on academic suspension, students may be eligible to appeal to the Dean of Students if one or more of the following occurred:
- 学生或直系亲属患病或受伤
- 非自愿的工作时间表改变或转移
- 学生的直系亲属死亡
- Called to active military duty
- 个人或家庭危机
In order to return from 学术悬挂, students must complete an online learning module designed to help returning students be more successful. If you have been placed on academic suspension and are interested in returning to NWACC, please contact us at success@nwacc.edu to gain access to the module. Once the online module has been completed, you will be required to meet with a member of the Student Success office to discuss your return to college. Individuals returning from academic suspension must also reapply to the college.
