阿什莉·指针，一区
Ashley Pointer has lived in Northwest Arkansas since 2013, when she and her family relocated from Texas. She has been the owner of Card My Yard NWA, a small business that specializes in yard sign rentals for celebratory occasions, since 2019 and serves on the Parent–Teacher Organization of each school that her five children attend.
Ashley graduated from Baylor University with a BA in English and earned her MEd in
Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M. She was an 8th grade English and dyslexia
teacher for 5 years before becoming an Academic Interventionist/504 Coordinator and
Testing Coordinator. She then took a break from her professional career to stay at
home full-time and raise her kids, which she considers her most rewarding job.
Ashley and her husband, Lucas Pointer, have been married for 18 years and live in
Bentonville. Ashley, a proud native Texan, was finally convinced by Lucas to move
to God's country after their 3 sons were born. One of Ashley's favorite things about
the Natural State is that there are four true seasons here in NWA.
Ashley and Lucas have five kids—Caleb, Luke, Samuel, Lucy, and Elizabeth—and currently
20+ pets (too numerous for an accurate headcount!). The entire Pointer family loves
spending time outdoors and is heavily involved in Bentonville Public Schools and their
church home, First Baptist Rogers. In her (very rare) free time, Ashley can be found
reading a book, working on a puzzle, or playing board games.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in June 2025 to fill a vacancy, and her term expires
in January 2027.
