NWACC's mission is to offer students an affordable, accessible and a high quality education. As an accredited institution by the 高等教育委员会 (HLC), you can rest assured that you're earning a highly valued certificate or degree.
The Vice President of Learning at NWACC is responsible for the functions of accreditation. The Vice President of Learning office heads all the functions of accreditation, such as meeting threshold standards, annual monitoring of financial and non-financial indicators, and adhering to HLC's policies and practices on institutional improvement.

NWACC became a candidate for accreditation in the early 1990s and was granted accreditation by the 高等教育委员会 (HLC) in April 1995. HLC accredits degree-granting postsecondary educational institutions in the north central region of the United States and conducts a full review of accreditation every eight to 10 years.
