勤工俭学的工作和工资

The work-study program encourages community service and work related to your course of study. 你的工作可能在校内也可能在校外。 On-campus jobs involve working for a variety of NWACC offices. Examples include working for the Pauline Whittaker 图书馆, the Marketing department, or the Office of Admissions and Records. Off-campus work-study jobs vary, but they all have to be in the public interest. Usually, they will be with a private nonprofit organization or a public agency.

Your federal work-study wages will be at least the current federal minimum wage, but it may be higher, depending on the type of work you do and the skills required. At NWACC, the minimum federal work-study hourly wage is $14.00 per hour. Your total federal work-study award depends on when you apply, your level of need, and the funds available at NWACC.
