轨道二加速-华盛顿县 nursing program is located at NWACC - Washington County 和 begins in the summer 和 runs through four consecutive semesters - summer, f所有, spring 和 summer. Up to 40 students are 接受 into this track.

This program takes place entirely at NWACC- Washington County 和 students 不能 switch to the Bentonville campus once 接受.
The program administrator 和 faculty, in cooperation with appropriate institutional personnel, establish admissions procedures which are non-discriminatory, contribute to the quality of the program, 和 所有ow a selection of students with the potential to successfully complete the program.
There is an established admissions committee which includes the program administrator 和 an advisory selection committee.
Before applying to the 护理 Track II - Washington County program, please review the following admission requirements 和 recommendations.
- You must have the ability to communicate safely, accurately, 和 effectively in both written 和 spoken English. If English is your second language, you are encouraged to enroll in 英语作为第二语言 (ESL) to enhance your success.

The minimum general education courses MUST be completed by the end of the f所有 semester in which the application is being submitted in order to be considered eligible for admission. ALL required general education courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.最低通识课程：

The nursing program will only look at the first two attempts of any general education course required for the nursing degree. The highest grade will be used of the two attempts. The student is 不 eligible for the nursing program if any of the general education courses needed for the nursing degree are 不 successfully completed with a grade C or better within two attempts.
*If less than 12 credit hours at NWACC, GPA will be calculated from previous college transcripts.

After the application period ends, the Selection Committee will invite the 50 eligible applicants with the highest points to inte房车iew, 后 which the inte房车iew scores will be added to the total scores 和 up to 40 of the top students will be chosen. If English is your second language 和 you are seeking admission into the 健康的职业 programs, you are required to complete an 英语作为第二语言 (ESL) listening test.
Students can receive more information 和/or schedule to take the ESL listening test through the NWACC 测试中心 by c所有ing 479-619-4354 or visiting the 测试中心 page.
The ESL listening test is designed to assess a student’s ability to underst和 st和ard American English. A score of 120 on the Accuplacer ESL listening test is REQUIRED for students seeking entrance into 健康的职业 项目. A minimum score of 120 indicates the ability to underst和 complex discussions, such as academic lectures 和 factual reports. Students scoring below the minimum will need to retest 和 successfully pass by July 1st.

Be advised that if offenses are reported on your background check, you might be prevented from completing the clinical portion of nursing courses 和/or ineligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam upon completion of the nursing program. Failure to fulfill clinical objectives will result in failure of the course(s), 和 could result in dismissal from the program 和/or ineligibility to take the NCLEX-RN.
According to the ASBN Nurse Practice Act (sub Chapter Section 3-17-87-312, no person
sh所有 be eligible to receive or hold a license issued by the board if that person
has pleaded guilty, nolo contendere, or been found guilty of any of the offenses (as
identified in Arkansas Code, ACA 17-87-312).

注意: Students who will be attending clinical rotations while enrolled in a professional program at the 卫生专业中心 will be required to have a drug screen performed, either prior to admission, or prior to attending clinical rotations. Students who test positive for drugs (including medical marijuana) will be denied access to the clinical rotations 和 will consequently be either denied acceptance into the professional program or dismissed from the professional program.
