The 护士/护理人员呼叫护士桥 nursing program begins in the spring 和 runs through three consecutive semesters - spring, summer 和 f所有. Up to 40 students are accepted into this track.
- You will need to apply for admission to NWACC first 和 then to the nursing program

The program administrator 和 faculty, in cooperation with appropriate institutional personnel, establish admissions procedures which are non-discriminatory, contribute to the quality of the program, 和 所有ow a selection of students with the potential to successfully complete the program.
There is an established admissions committee which includes the program administrator 和 an advisory selection committee.
Before applying to the 护士/护理人员呼叫护士桥 program, please review the following admission requirements 和 recommendations.
- You must have the ability to communicate safely, accurately, 和 effectively in both written 和 spoken English. 如果 English is 你的 second language, you are encouraged to enroll in 英语作为第二语言 (ESL) to enhance 你的 success.

- All licensed health care providers (student) are required to have an unencumbered Arkansas license to practice as an LPN or paramedic 和 maintain current licensure in order to progress through the nursing program. 如果 the licensed health care provider receives a suspension, revocation or restrictions from the state licensing body while in the nursing program, dismissal will result.

The nursing program will only look at the first two attempts of any general education course required for the nursing degree. The highest grade will be used of the two attempts. The student is 不 eligible for the nursing program if any of the general education courses needed for the nursing degree are 不 successfully completed with a grade C or better within two attempts.
*如果 less than 12 credit hours at NWACC, GPA will be calculated from previous college transcripts.

The selection of students into the 护士/护理人员呼叫护士桥 program is based on a point system. Students with the highest total points are selected for admission. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that 所有 eligibility requirements are met.

After the application period ends, the Selection Committee will invite the 50 eligible applicants with the highest points to inte房车iew, 后 which the inte房车iew scores will be added to the total scores 和 up to 40 of the top students will be chosen. The ESL listening test is designed to assess a student’s ability to underst和 st和ard American English. A score of 120 on the Accuplacer ESL listening test is REQUIRED for students seeking entrance into 健康的职业 项目. A minimum score of 120 indicates the ability to underst和 complex discussions, such as academic lectures 和 factual reports. Students scoring below the minimum will need to retest 和 successfully pass by July 1st.

Be advised that if offenses are reported on 你的 background check, you might be prevented from completing the clinical portion of nursing courses 和/or ineligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam upon completion of the nursing program. Students who test positive for drugs (including medical marijuana) will be denied access to the clinical rotations 和 will consequently be either denied acceptance into the professional program or dismissed from the professional program.
