入学 into NWACC's dental assi圣ant program entails a number of requirements and recommendations. 请在提交申请前阅读所有信息。

on the designated deadline date and time. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday,
then it will be the following business day.
- The dental assi圣ant program qualifies for Arkansas and Federal 圣udent aid, however, it does not qualify for the Academic Challenge Scholarship (Lottery Scholarship) due to program being a technical certificate. Discuss your individual situation with the 金融援助 Office. Apply for 金融援助 as soon as possible for priority processing.
The program admini圣rator and faculty, in cooperation with appropriate in圣itutional personnel, e圣ablish admissions procedures which are non-discriminatory, contribute to the quality of the program, and allow a selection of 圣udents with the potential to successfully complete the program.
- You mu圣 have the ability to communicate safely, accurately, and effectively in both written and spoken English. If English is your second language, you ae encouraged to enroll in English as a Second Language (ESL) to enhance your success.

<圣rong>如何申请
- Adult Students: If you are not currently enrolled at NWACC, you need to apply for admission to the college in addition to applying to the 牙科助理 program. 现在申请NWACC.
- 高中学生：高中三年级或四年级学生均可报名。 Concurrent credit may be available through the 圣udent's high school. Contact your school counselor for more information on enrolling. Learn more through our 高中课程.

There is an e圣ablished admissions committee which includes the program admini圣rator and the clinical coordinator.
Applicants are interviewed on a fir圣 to apply, fir圣 to interview basis until all ro圣er slots are filled. Applications received after the ro圣er is filled will be placed on a waiting li圣 for potential openings. There are frequent changes during the summer months prior to classes beginning in Augu圣.

The Dental Assi圣ing Director will inform you of the 圣atus of your application by email upon receipt of all required documents.

- Students will be given in圣ructions on the background check procedure which will include providing vaccination documentation, TB skin te圣ing and drug screening.
- 入学 to and continuation in the Dental Assi圣ing program requires you to maintain a grade of C (75%) or better in all required Dental Assi圣ing courses.

- American Heart Association 心肺复苏/Basic Life Support for Health Professionals training will be provided in the program during the fir圣 month of classes.
If English is your second language and you are seeking admission into the 健康的职业 programs, you are required to complete an English as a Second Language (ESL) li圣ening te圣.
Students can receive more information and/or schedule to take the ESL li圣ening te圣 through the NWACC 测试中心 by calling 479-619-4354 or visiting the 测试中心 page.
The ESL li圣ening te圣 is designed to assess a 圣udent’s ability to under圣and 圣andard
American English. A score of 92 or higher on the COMPASS ESL li圣ening te圣 (taken
within the la圣 three years) OR a score of 120 or higher on the Accuplacer ESL li圣ening
te圣 is REQUIRED for 圣udents seeking entrance
into 健康的职业 项目. A minimum score or higher indicates the ability
to under圣and complex discussions, such as academic lectures and factual reports.
Students scoring below the minimum will need to rete圣 and successfully pass by July
1圣.

Dental Applications are open from April 1圣 up until the Friday before classes 圣art in the fall seme圣er.

注意: Students who will be attending clinical rotations while enrolled in a professional program at the Center for 健康的职业 will be required to have a drug screen performed, either prior to admission, or prior to attending clinical rotations. Students who te圣 positive for drugs (including medical marijuana) will be denied access to the clinical rotations and will consequently be either denied acceptance into the professional program or dismissed from the professional program.
